- Melody Maker did a review (albeit short) of "Eraser Cut:"
"Hey! Siouxsie's back! She was always quite the headcase, what with her
'Hong Kong Garden' and the scary 'Playground Twist,'
not to mention a half-hour reading of 'The Lord's
Prayer.' The Creatures, her post-Banshees outfit with
drummer Budgie, is an outlet, judging by this, of their
darkest and angular musical needs. Dark? Oh, I should
coco. The lead track has more scary bells on it than
both Ice-T and Black Sabbath on National Scary Bell Day."
