ANASTASIA PANTSIOS
Siouxsie and the Banshees, formed in the midst of the 1976 punk explosion, are the root of almost all music termed "goth." Vocalist Siouxsie Sioux was the original ghoul-girl and the band's gloomy music inspired millions of theatrically depressive adolescents for two decades. In the early '80s, Sioux and drummer Budgie, formed a spin-off called the Creatures. The Banshees split in 1996, but the Creatures are at the Odeon Sunday at 8 p.m. $15 advance, $16 day of show.
