"O Baby"
New Singles review by Dale Winton
. . . The happy theme continues with a new Siouxsie and the Banshees record, produced by John Cale. "O Baby" (Polydor) is a chiming, almost '91-style dance-crossover affair. It's got glorious jangles and a breakbeat. Dale's very excited. He almost forgets to smoke.
"I first saw Siouxsie & The Banshees in the Marquee days when I was punkish," he smirks. "And I always thought Siouxsie would be a big pop star. This will be a hit--I'm putting my reputation on the line here! It's got a great guitar. Well done, Siouxsie, welcome back! You have been missed!"
